Limited edition photo-gravures from Roger Coulam
During the spring months of the last 8 years, Aurora member Roger Coulam has worked as part of a Storm Chasing Team in Tornado Alley in the USA, photographing some of the wildest weather on the planet.

This year he has the honour of being the key speaker at the Royal Meteorological Societies meeting in London on 22 November, where he will be lecturing on his extreme weather pictures and techniques. His work has been used in numerous books, magazines, and calendars worldwide, and recently in the Met Offices' book "Weather World - Photographing the Global Spectacle".
After living through over 30 tornadoes, and back to the calmer side of life, Roger has just released a series of limited edition photo-gravures.
These hand made intaglio prints have been individually created by Roger at studios in Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne. By combining traditional photography with modern polymer printmaking techniques, he creates unique pieces of art that have a tonal richness and timeless characteristics that cannot be replicated in any computer!
